The Town Blackstone was founded in 1845 and is located in Worcester County about 40 miles southwest of the city of Boston.

The town consists of about 9000 year round residents.

Blackstone residents where asked to describe their town and three words kept getting repeated, “quaint, friendly, and historical”.
